John Bangura, founder and Chairman of Hope-Sierra Leone handing over the Tree of Peace and Reconciliation to His Highness Paramount Chief Bai Sheborah Kasangha 2nd of Bombali Sheborah Chiefdom, Makeni-Bombali District at a well-attended seminar on the 5th of December 2002.

Senior military officer of the regional Brigade Headquarters in Makeni taking the lead in diiging the hole for the Peace Tree.

A ceremonial procession led by the Paramount Chief from the town hall where the seminar took place to the centre of town chosen to be the Peace Tree planting site. The tree is been carried by a commander of the former Revolutionary United Front (RUP) with colleagues and war victims.
